One advantage of visiting the US, especially the west coast, is that the jet lag makes me a morning person. I love the morning when I can wake up for it. So on a recent trip to La Jolla, waking up around 5:30-6:30 am each day, I found myself with plenty of time one morning to walk down to La Jolla Cove.
Since I was staying in an unfamiliar neighborhood, I pulled out Google Maps to make sure I took a sensible route down to the cove. And to my surprise, I noticed a walking trail marked Coast Walk Trail that I had never seen before. It connects Coast Walk with the lookout over La Jolla Cave, and makes for a nice morning stroll.
