What the hell, Aachen? I thought we were done with winter when the temperatures got into the 60s last week.
Well, that photo is actually from two weeks ago — it hasn’t snowed quite that much today (yet) — but you get the idea. When I went out for groceries this afternoon, giant, wet snowflakes were tumbling out of the sky and even my hat and scarf and gloves couldn’t keep out the chill. I’m ready for spring.
Seriously… I could not agree more with this if I were paid to. Enough, already!!
Looks like it’s like that everywhere! It was warm(ish) last week, and today it’s snowing huge chunks of snow in Würzburg! And my friend in Heidelberg said the same thing! Had to bring out the down jacket and earmuffs again. So cold. So sad =(
I totally understand you! This needs to end. Do you hear me winter? It’s enough already!
Märzwinter (yes, that’s a word) is a term you probably didn’t ever wish to have to add to your vocabulary… 🙂
Amazingly, this is not the first time I have seen winter weather in March! I grew up in the middle of the US, and I can remember one particular time when I had to drive through a blizzard to get back to classes after our “spring” break. 😉 At least now I have a word for it!
