This is a short follow-up to my previous post about Trash & Recycling in Germany. When I first arrived here, I was completely in the dark about how to sort our trash. On top of that, I had heard whispers about „Gelbe Säcke” (“yellow sacks”) for sorting packaging (plastic, aluminum, styrofoam), but I had no idea where to get these illusive bags.
Yesterday I had to pick up a new batch of them for the first time since moving to our current apartment. I decided to look around for the most convenient place to get them.
