I wish I could bottle up the smell of the summer. Sitting on our terrace, I could smell the warm pavement, the trees, freshness … I miss the smell of the ocean, but I love the earthiness of once again living in a climate with rain and greenness. It makes for a very pleasant afternoon in the sun.
We spent the weekend in Köln, and we ended up with a couple extra hours before catching the train home on Sunday. After a nice walk in the sun, we sat down for a Kölsch in front of the Dom. So relaxing, so summery …
