Yesterday, it finally stopped raining for more than ten minutes, and the temperature rocketed to a balmy 73 degrees. Seriously, I can handle the rain (especially knowing about the drought in other parts of the world), but low temperatures are making this July decidedly not summery.
To celebrate a comfortably warm evening, we took a stroll to a nearby park. It was just late enough that there was only a smattering of other couples around. My favorite spot was this little waterfall. (There is a nano geocache somewhere around this waterfall, but I haven’t been able to find it yet.)
It was a pleasant and relaxing way to spend the evening. The second month of my German course just ended, so I got to decompress with an English-only day. 😉
